The decision to find a therapist for your child or adolescent is fraught with anxiety. Parents are taking a risk in choosing to share their children and their vulnerabilities with me. In my work I have the utmost respect for this decision and appreciate how challenging it is. So often you worry about what you did wrong or feel powerless to help. You may feel like you've tried everything or that you've failed. You may blame yourself or feel like you are failing your child in some way, or like you just need someone who can help.
