Charity begins at home,” my mother would always say. “Outside, the world is hard enough but at home, you should have peace.” That belief guides my work with children and families today. I believe healing begins in spaces where children feel safe, seen, and supported and that this sense of home can be built through relationships, play, patience, and care. As adults, it is our responsibility to create environments where children are free to grow, learn, and express themselves without fear. I am a Master of Social Work graduate from Michigan State University and a part-time therapist serving children and families. My experience includes working as a Registered Behavior Technician with autistic children, teaching English in Ecuador, and providing therapy services for autistic youth and adults with compassionate culturally responsive care.
