The focus of my practice is to create a safe and accepting space for individuals and families to work through life's challenges and strengthen resiliency skills. We may not have control over all of our circumstances but we each have the capacity to develop healthy skills to cope with adversity. I believe healthy attachments are a critical part of healing, particularly with children and adolescents. Therefore, I take a family systems approach when working with youth. I'm trained and experienced in working with female survivors of intimate partner violence and use trauma-focused approaches in their journey to healing.
