Kim is a Queer, non-binary therapist born and raised in Chicago. Her/their passion for mental health was deeply influenced by early experiences witnessing loved ones navigate challenges related to addiction, intergenerational trauma, and systemic injustice. These personal experiences shaped Kim’s commitment to becoming both a therapist and an advocate—especially for those whose identities and needs have historically been overlooked by mainstream systems. Kim believes that access to quality mental and physical healthcare is a fundamental human right. She/they are particularly passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals.
