I have an eclectic style, utilizing therapeutic modalities such as psychodynamic, Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT), Dialectical-Behavioral (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, etc… with a Strengths-Based and Humanistic approach. My eclectic style represents my understanding that every client has individualized clinical needs. While being specialty trained and certified in specific clinical interventions, I believe the therapeutic relationship-building a strong, trusting, rapport-is at the core of my clinical work; that trust of relationship helps heal wounds of the past, allowing one to thrive in the present.
