Hi, welcome to my page! I’m a queer therapist specializing in complex trauma, sexual/gender identity, eating disorders/disordered eating (with lived experience), struggles with body image, and chronic dieting. I use a Health at Every Size (HAES) and trauma-informed approach when working with clients. I also draw from Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Person-Centered, and Humanistic therapies but have found the core of my work is the therapeutic relationship. I most importantly prioritize building trust and connection to support each client’s journey and ensure they feel comfortable and understood in my care. I've worked in multiple levels of care that include a residential treatment facility, group homes, IOP/PHP, and a homeless shelter. I also help to co-facilitate support groups with the National Alliance for Eating Disorders. I provide an LGBTQ+ affirming & welcoming environment & guide individuals to build a healthy relationship with both their mind & body.
