There are challenges in everyone’s life that can seem daunting. At such times, an experienced guide to assist us in identifying the thoughts and feelings associated with our current difficulties can be beneficial. We all have within us the capacity to be our best selves and live fulfilling lives. We carry with us our unique combination of genetics, upbringing, and life experiences which impact our interactions with ourselves and others. While employing efforts to get our needs met, attain happiness, and create satisfying connections with others, we may find ourselves engaging in ineffective and counterproductive behaviors. This can leave us feeling stuck and frustrated about the reasons for our behavior or how to make necessary changes. My focus is on providing an environment where clients can be open without fear of judgment. My goals for each client are to develop an achievable course of action that leads to effectively reducing their distress while developing coping skills
