Throughout a person's lifetime, many seeds of change are planted. Sometimes we can tend to them on our own, but sometimes a partner is needed to assist in growing the seeds into a magnificent tree. In therapy with Kimberly, she believes each person is the expert in their own life, but may need a partner to build empowerment to make the seeds of change grow. Through a holistic and trauma-informed lens, she creates a safe, supportive space for clients to explore thoughts, emotions, and life experiences while working toward meaningful, self-defined goals, small or large. Kimberly utilizes an eclectic, integrative approach tailored to each client’s learning style and needs. Her main therapies are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Kimberly also uses narrative, person-centered, solution-focused, experiential, art-based, somatic, and mindfulness.
