I believe that play is vital to healing in children, and therefore use play to build trust, regulate emotions, and explore thoughts and feelings that might not otherwise surface verbally. I use a strengths-based approach in working with families to promote secure attachments, foster healthy relationships, and promote mutual enjoyment. I have worked extensively with children with attachment-related concerns, including those in families built through foster care and adoption.
