At Kokoro Counseling Center we help people move through their lives with a greater sense of purpose, meaning, and joy. We partner with our clients to develop treatment goals that target unwanted emotional struggles and behavioral patterns. Upon request, we work with prescribing medical providers for more promising psychotherapeutic outcomes. Our practice integrates various clinical treatment theories that meet a range of client treatment needs. We provide an emotionally safe space to heal past trauma and embrace new beginnings, one step at a time. In our work, a wide variety of goals are achieved. We focus on how relating to trauma in a different way diminishes pain, increases self-confidence and makes life's challenges more manageable. We witness resilience, hope, and healing in our client's every day.
