Thank you for taking the first step toward change in your life! Challenging habits can be very scary. It is possible you have been practicing these habits for so long you have forgotten where they began. Many people view their symptoms as their identity. My passion is to work with you to empower that part of you that is hoping for more from your life and relationships. Please know you are not alone in this journey. Our job together is to work to identify the core issues driving those symptoms and find healthier ways of living the life you want. Addiction is a symptom of a deeper core issue. Perhaps it's trauma, anxiety, family discourse or another mental health diagnosis. Perhaps you have lost what you once believed you were living for or life just got "too heavy". No matter the circumstances, change is possible.
