About
I originally started college planning to be a DEA agent, taking criminal justice classes alongside psychology. But the more I learned about the mind, the more I realized prevention beats intervention every time. So I rerouted, earning degrees in both Forensic Psychology and Forensic Mental Health Counseling. Now I work at a psychiatric hospital where I meet people whose untreated mental illness led to crimes - usually driven by delusions or paranoia. It's shown me how our system fails people by being reactive instead of proactive. We wait for the crisis, the arrest, the hospitalization, instead of support.
