I feel like therapy chose me, not the other way around. My career started in community mental health, where I worked with low-income adults struggling with severe mental and emotional problems. My passion for helping those who are hurting and broken has kept me in this profession. I have trained and taught countless new therapists to love the profession and serve with excellence. Having been in the field for 18 years, I remain committed to eliminating the stigma that prevents so many from getting the mental health care they need by walking alongside those who are hurting.
