I’m Kyla, a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, school or work, and life transitions. I believe therapy should feel safe, collaborative, and genuinely human, and yes, it can even be fun at times. I value play, creativity, and humor as meaningful tools for connection and healing, not distractions from the work. I’m deeply relational in my style and care most about creating a space where you feel seen, respected, and accepted exactly as you are. Outside the therapy room, I’m an animal lover and share my life with two dogs and three cats. My work is grounded in humanistic and Rogerian approaches, with a strong emphasis on empathy, authenticity, and meeting clients where they are. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you. Supporting insight, growth, and change in ways that feel aligned and sustainable.
