I am a Board Certified Licensed Mental Health Counselor that believes in science and faith. I believe that a person’s current thoughts, feelings, beliefs and behaviors are determined and/or prescribed by past Experiences/Events of trauma, joy and pain. Experiences are stored in memories from the time that we are able to receive information; and transform into automatic thoughts and behaviors as various situations/conditions occur. An individual’s perceptions and evaluations of experiences affect how they manage current episodes of stress, anger, adversity, relationship problems, grief, trauma, low self-esteem and problems in living.
