Lanetta Edison-Soe, PLMHP, PCMSW, PSS, WRAP/ALF Lanetta Edison-Soe, affectionately known as Poe Poe, is a passionate advocate and community leader from the Karen ethnic group of Burma. Her personal experiences as an Internally Displaced Person (IDP) in Karen State and a refugee in Thailand for 16 years have profoundly shaped her dedication to advancing health equity and providing culturally responsive care. Lanetta is a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (PLMHP) and a Provisional Certified Master Social Worker (PCMSW), offering outpatient mental health services to refugees, immigrants, and their families.
