As a therapist, I would imagine my ideal client as someone who is navigating a period of personal growth, yet feeling held back by past wounds, present anxieties, and a deep desire for change. This person might be struggling with trauma, anxiety, or self-doubt, and they come to therapy seeking not just relief but healing and transformation. Being a women of color, of Caribbean, West Indian decent and a first generation American, I understand the unique experiences and challenges faced by individuals from Caribbean and BIPOC communities, while also offering a broad range of mental health services.
