I believe in the potential of all human beings to grow, change, and develop in ways that enrich themselves and those around them. Unfortunately, pain is often the touchstone of growth. Explored wisely, however, such pain can lead us to deeper understandings of ourselves and the world around us. Psychotherapy can be a valuable tool for turning our personal pain into personal growth. I have over 25 years of experience working with issues that have great impact on the LGBTQ community and beyond - the traumas of oppression, depression, anxiety, substance use, relational issues, career issues...the list goes on.
