'Life is difficult.' These words are no less true today than when they were written more than 35 years ago by M. Scott Peck. As a therapist, I believe I am engaged in a special calling to come along side those who encounter this truth to offer help, comfort and encouragement. Everyone's story is different and everyone has the right to expect to be treated as the unique person they are. Life may get no less difficult, but all of us can learn to adjust and cope to make the road less challenging.
