Hi I'm Laura! My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, compassion, and non-judgment. I like to balance acceptance and change, as well as present and past issues in therapy sessions. I utilize a variety of evidence-based techniques (cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, accelerated resolution therapy) to help my clients achieve their goals. I enjoy working with individual adults and teens aged 13+. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Minnesota. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of Wisconsin - La Crosse, as well as a Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. I have experience working in residential treatment and intensive outpatient therapy.
