My clients have often experienced traumatic situations and chronic invalidation that create significant distress, preventing them from feeling they are living the life they desire. These experiences can create such suffering that manifests in various mood disorders, interpersonal issues, and beliefs that block them from reaching their goals. Often we internalize the negative experiences and they damage our sense of self. A common goal is to work through these experiences to heal from the past, find their authentic self, and to build a life worth living.
