While searching online for a therapist can be overwhelming, I encourage you to trust in your ability to find the right person to help. A lot of these profiles sound similar, so how do you choose? I'll try to share a couple things I think would help you decide if I would be a good fit for you. The most important is that my work focuses on identifying and resolving underlying patterns, in order to create lasting change (instead of coping skills that provide temporary relief but don't resolve the issue). Additionally: 1) I frequently utilize metaphors and imagery to help clients visualize and better understand their patterns. 2) Clients tell me they appreciate that I communicate honestly, directly and without judgment. 3) I will work as hard as you during your sessions - I'm not checked out!
