Hi Welcome! I am so proud of you for being here. Seeking out help or even finding the right therapist is not easy. Life is rarely easy; managing relationships, life changes, and your own emotions can make life hard. You may be coming to therapy for those reasons, or maybe it’s grief, depression, anxiety, or processing trauma. If you are seeking out healing, you are in the right place. I see in-person and virtual clients at both Niyama Center for EMDR Therapy/ talk therapy in Birmingham (we accept BCBS, Aetna, Priority Health) and Chance One as well in Southfield (I accept all other insurances listed in my profile) You are guaranteed a collaborative, empathetic, trauma-focused, and culturally sensitive approach. We will work together as a team. I wish I had the magic wand to make you feel better instantly, but since that unfortunately does not exist, we will work together – step by step and at your own pace.
