I named my practice "Confidential Counseling" because I want you to know that I consider the work we do sacred and above all, your right to confidentiality is foundational in creating that safe space. The difference between a counselor and a friend is that ability to have an unconditional positive regard and be able to process your thoughts and feelings without the fear of judgement. It is not about my values or opinions. Counseling is about helping you discover how to improve your quality of life. I would describe myself as open-minded and down-to-earth. I often times use a lot of examples to make ideas more relatable. I have worked in the school, community mental health, hospital, and private practice settings.
