Hi! I'm Laura Joplin, LMSW, and my foundational therapeutic philosophy is that we don’t need to be fixed, but seen. I believe that the integration of somatic tools like yoga and meditation with classical talk therapy gives us room to understand this key truth. Sessions with me are a place to land amidst the swirl of life, develop skills for self-regulation and empowerment, form goals and intentions, and receive kind accountability around it all. I show up to session relaxed (comfy pants and flowy clothes!), warm and personable, humorous and acutely aware of the challenging environmental and structural circumstances we all face.
