Hello! My name is Laura Mitchell, and I am a licensed clinical social worker. Prior to becoming a social worker, I was an elementary and special education teacher. I have always had a strong passion for helping others in some capacity. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, with a focus on those with special needs. I value building a strong rapport with my clients throughout the therapeutic relationship. We will work together to identify the areas you want to improve and develop meaningful, attainable goals to reach your greatest potential. Our first session will include screening questions, the client sharing their primary concerns and ideas for goals that they would like to work on, and rapport building. The following session will focus on developing a treatment plan with individualized goals based on the information from the first session.
