Dr. Laura Scherck Wittcoff is a licensed clinical social worker with a doctorate in social work. She maintains a clinical practice in Massachusetts and currently lives in Los Angeles, where she also teaches at the University of Southern California. Dr. Wittcoff works with adult individuals and couples who want support in managing their current challenges and creating meaningful change in their lives. Many of her clients experience symptoms of depression and anxiety, feel overwhelmed by daily activities, struggle with unbalanced relationships, or find that stress and self-criticism are affecting their interactions and decision-making Dr. Wittcoff builds a collaborative therapeutic partnership with her clients, recognizing that they are the experts in their own lives. Together, they explore ways to reduce symptoms and develop new patterns of engagement. Her treatment approach integrates insight-oriented and cognitive-based methods along with other evidence-based modalities.
