For many people, the decision to enter into therapy can be daunting - they may be unsure of what to expect, they may be uncertain if it will be helpful, and they may be fearful of the idea of sharing a side of themselves with someone they do not know. I am empathetic to this feeling and strive to create a safe and supportive environment for my clients. I believe that the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist is essential to the healing process, and I collaborate with my clients to create a trusting environment.
