I strongly believe that trauma, whether it be big or small plays a monumental role in our day to day life. Whether it be our behaviors, inner dialogue or the guilt and shame that we carry, trauma can have a hold on us and the way we show up in our lives. I work from a developmental trauma lens that examines events that have happened throughout your life, ranging from childhood to adulthood, that may be affecting or interrupting your life today. I believe that by gaining a sense of how trauma affects us, we then can begin to gain back power in our lives.
