About
Lauren received her B.S. in Psychology in 2006 and M.S. in Counseling in 2011 from William Carey University. She is very passionate about working with individuals, children/adolescents, and families to improve relationships and quality of life. Lauren is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Aggression Replacement Training (ART), Collaborative Problem Solving(CPS), and has training in being an Adoptions Competent Counselor. Lauren has frequently worked with individuals who have behavioral issues, anger management problems, communication problems, issues with social skills, LBGTQIA+ concerns and needs, anxiety and stress management, depression, abuse and trauma, grief, and self-injurious behaviors.
