About
I work with individuals who are navigating big emotions and challenging experiences, including ongoing depression or anxiety, the effects of trauma, and self-harm or suicidal thoughts. I enjoy supporting people as they build new coping skills, move through life transitions, strengthen relationships, and explore their gender identity or sexual orientation in a safe and affirming space. I also have experience working with active-duty service members, veterans, and individuals going through family planning, infertility, and loss. I especially enjoy working with older teens (16+), young adults, and adults. I approach therapy primarily from behavioral, cognitive, and mindfulness-based perspectives. I have specific expertise in: Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and anti-oppressive care for the LGBTQIA+ community.
