Lauren became a holistic therapist in 2009 and began her counseling career providing crisis care to families involved in the child welfare system. She remained involved in trauma treatment while transitioning to the Maui school system to work with students with learning disabilities. She cared for adults in home and community settings, as well, and in 2019, she became licensed to provide medical treatment to individuals with autism. She continues to serve individuals with disabilities, teach parenting skills, and offer therapy to children and adults seeking to resolve problems around stress, mood, relationships, and purpose.
