Counseling takes courage and curiosity! I strive to create a warm, accepting, creative, and exploratory environment for all of my clients ( children, teens, and adults alike). Depending on my client's age, values, and presenting concerns I will utilize different approaches such as non-directive and directive play , Filial (empowering parents to be therapeutic agents of change for child), person-centered, and/or cognitive behavioral therapy. I work with a wide range of issues including: anxiety, life transitions, trauma, grief, anger, low self-esteem, identity, acting out behaviors, and navigating cancer or other medical journeys.
