Welcome! My name is Lauren Leon and I am an associate clinician, having graduated from Chapman’s Marriage and Family Therapy program in 2023. I'm excited you’re here and appreciate you taking the leap into therapy. As a person centered and solution focused therapist, it is important for me to learn the client’s story and to work collaboratively with my clients to find goals and solutions where clients see potential. I also work with clients and their families to see how the family system can be shaping individual’s thoughts, beliefs, and actions. By being open-minded and non-judgmental, I give clients space to explore themselves. Some specialties of mine include work with exploring sexual and gender identity, especially with the trans community. I have also worked with many people to process grief, improve self-esteem, and process/minimize feelings of anxiety and depression. I also have extensive experience working with couples and with younger people-including children and teens.
