MY BACKGROUND: I understand that reaching out for help takes courage. The counselor-client relationship is a crucial part of therapy, so it's important to me that you feel comfortable working together. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's Degree from Fairfield University. I have experience -- privately and in the school setting -- working with adults and teens on issues including: coping with anxiety, improving relationships/social skills, navigating academic challenges and stress management. In my previous career, I worked in business in NYC. This provided invaluable experience, and helps me relate to individuals from various backgrounds. COLLABORATION: Person-Centered Therapy serves as the foundation for our sessions. My approach focuses on meeting clients wherever they are on their journey. I understand this can look very different for different people. The goal is to empower clients to translate the skills developed in counseling to their daily functioning.
