Finding someone you can trust and feel comfortable opening-up to is one of the first steps in entering therapy. I have a relaxed, empathic demeanor and create an environment where you can feel free to talk openly and not be judged. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have 20+ years of experience. I am certified in EMDR, Family Systems Theory and Contextual Family Therapy. I have also completed training at the Ackerman Institute in EFT for Couples (Emotionally Focused Therapy). I have worked in a number of high schools in Westchester County and am well-aware of the issues going on with teenagers and families today.
