Hello there, my name is Dr. Lauren Serdencuk, and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Florida. I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from CUNY Queens College, a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mercy College, and a PhD from Nova Southeastern University. I am also a Certified Addiction Professional (CAP) in the state of Florida. My specialties include Substance Abuse, Chronic Illness, Depression, Family Conflicts, and Anxiety. I recently worked with incarcerated women at a FL state prison and enjoyed the experience. Our first session will include a brief introduction, and I will review HIPAA with you. I will inquire if you have any questions and if you have any prior experience with therapy. I also provide information about the flow of therapy sessions and my general practice approach.
