The journey to knowing yourself can seem daunting, but taking the first step is both courageous and worthwhile. As a counselor, I believe that every person on this journey can benefit from some help and support along the way. I practice from a person-centered viewpoint and really believe that each of us is capable of making the choices we need to achieve the life we want. With a solution focused, strengths based approach, I seek to use past and present circumstances to carve a path forward that will result in greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, and overall wellbeing. In my role as an AASECT certified sex therapist (and beyond), I focus my work on issues like infidelity, relationships/divorce, sexuality and sexual orientation, non-monogamy, kink, spirituality, life stage transitions, and child/adolescent issues. As a BIPOC therapist, issues of racial identity and racial experience are dear to my heart and to my practice.
