As a trauma-informed art therapist, I use art as a "power tool" to help clients, in all life-stages, work through creative blocks, fears, addictions, loss and whatever prevents you from living your most fulfilling life. Art is a "whole brain activity", giving us immediate access to self-regulation, attunement, intuitive wisdom and new perspectives. No art experience is needed and the process is equally effective online, using simple art materials from home. My integrated and collaborative approach to art therapy begins with listening deeply to understand and connect with clients and providing a safe and non-judgmental environment.
