"My goal in therapy is to assist you in exploring issues, emotions and behaviors that are troubling you or causing distress. These emotions or behaviors may result in anxiety, depression, unhealthy relationships or general discontent. My approach is to work with you collaboratively, by addressing these struggles and working towards a solution and/or changes that seem reasonable and within reach. My purpose is to encourage you to express yourself, increase your self-awareness, help you lessen any shame or guilt that is getting in the way, help you identify your goals and the obstacles that are keeping you from reaching those goals.
