I've found it helpful in my practice to be direct and to the point, while maintaining professional and nurturing relationships with my clients. I believe strongly in modeling healthy boundaries, and helping clients to strengthen their own. I love what I do, and I know my clients can sense that. I think my clients can also sense the great respect I have for them. Asking for help is never easy. Especially when one feels vulnerable.
