I am accepting, interactive, and easygoing. I believe in focusing on the current situation in peoples' lives, and explore the past as long as it has a demonstrable benefit for a client's present day functioning. I believe it is important to customize my approach to a client's style, situation, and needs. As much as possible, I draw on a person's emotional and physical "intelligence" to complement his or her cognitive understanding. It is essential that my clients feel in charge of their direction and pacing, and safe enough to take the necessary risks.
