Every client is going to have their own thoughts, conflicts, behavior, and emotions that brings them into therapy. Ideally, clients will come prepared to discuss their mental health, as they feel comfortable, in each session. I strive to meet my clients where they are in their mental health journey. Going off that, therapy can be a long process that depends on the cooperation and collaboration between client and provider. I believe that a client's drive to change is key in successful growth, and our work will be dependent on implementing that internal drive.
