I have been in practice in diverse community settings for nearly 20 years, largely with survivors of abuse and intimate partner/domestic violence and with individuals who have experienced homicide death or other traumatic loss. I work frequently with young adults who have experienced abuse in childhood, struggling within relationships or in life transitions. Traumatic experiences can lead to feelings of hopelessness, depression, anxiety and complex physical symptoms.
