I realize choosing a therapist can seem overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be an anxiety inducing experience. One of the most important things to consider when choosing a therapist is the therapeutic relationship. That may seem obvious, but research shows that the relationship is just as important, if not more important, than the techniques used. That's why finding someone you click with is significant in your journey. I treat the relationship with care, building trust, respect, and understanding, but I will also challenge you in sessions because life isn't always easy so therapy won't always feel easy either.
