About
I am a seasoned psychologist with offices in Atlanta, Georgia and Richmond, Virginia. I also offer telehealth services to 42 states. I partner with my clients to help them improve wellbeing and live a meaningful life. We use integrative cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for anxiety (generalized anxiety, phobias, social anxiety, health anxiety, etc.), obsessive compulsive or related disorders, perfectionism, insomnia, and post traumatic stress. I also help with depression, substance use, and chronic health conditions as well as difficulties adjusting to life changes, career, or relationships. CBT is “evidence-based” because researchers find it to be effective for many people. CBT is usually short term and can often work in 6-25 sessions. Some clients come back for “booster sessions” after they complete a course of therapy. Some stay in therapy for longer amounts of time finding it to be helpful.
