My clients are looking for a safe and supportive environment to learn to manage Anxiety, Depression, residual symptoms of Trauma and sometimes a mix of all of those. Another issue I work well with is the stress and overwhelm that accompany Life Transitions such as loss of a job, divorce, a new baby, grief, etc. that can be difficult to navigate. Other people experience unrealistic demands on their time or discord in relationships that can seem unmanagable. These issues tend to circle back to anxiety and/or depression whether situational or chronic. Collaborative goals are identified but always include symptom relief and management.
