About
Are you struggling with anxious thoughts, depressive symptoms, or a lack of motivation? Navigating the world, especially in this political environment, can feel uncertain and hopeless at times. There are moments when you might feel shame for not being strong enough to balance everything, and the world feels like it's caving in, too. In a constantly changing environment, caring for ourselves is a radical form of resistance. Therapy is an ongoing journey, where we can process our identities, the burdens we carry, the hurdles we traverse, and most importantly, an understanding of a way forward. I approach therapy as a collaborative experience. This is an opportunity to process your emotions in a supportive and judgment-free space. I practice with an emphasis on trauma-informed care, decolonization, intersectionality, and a social justice lens. My theoretical approach is informed by Internal Family Systems, ACT, Attachment, and Psychodynamic Theory.
