I strive to be a compassionate professional who can challenge ineffective thought/behavior patterns while providing thoughtful validation. We all experience challenges in life and sometimes we need help to overcome them. Whether you are seeking help for you or your child, I am here to help with: compassionate listening, mindfulness, emotional regulation, and distress tolerance skills. I want to help you gain your life back in a way that ushers in a greater sense of tranquility, self awareness, and self-management. I have almost 20 years of teaching experience (PreK, elementary & special education) as well as having been a counselor in schools & in community health. My approach is developmental, holistic and eclectic as I employ DBT, CBT, solution focused, art and play therapies. Whether you are four or 104, I welcome you to be yourself and share your story.
