Adults seeking my care are seeking direction & training in how to address longstanding resistant problems dealing with anxiety, depression, codependency, esteem, chronic pain, and disease. I hear patients and then introduce them to practical solutions to address their symptoms, emotions, and lifestyle. It's not only about insight, but about how to implement what really works for you. My ideal patient is ready to risk change: to face themselves, to learn or re-learn positive ways to self-nourish, to learn how to consistently practice how to build emotional self-reliance step by step. Each one of my patients is courageous. 40+ years of treating people with emotional and physical disorders informs my unique perspective on the critical importance of learning active ways to be self-caring (emotionally & within relationships). I teach people to limit drama, instead live "a boring life" within which they find inner security and renewed excitement for living.
